 * You do not smoke.

 A 2010 study of 20,000 young men compared their IQ.

 The average IQ of smokers between the ages of 18 and 21 was found to be 94, while the IQ of non-smokers was found to be 101.

 The study found that people who drank more than one can a day had an average IQ of only 90.

 The study also compared siblings who did not smoke, where those who did not smoke were found to be more intelligent.

 * You have taken music lessons.

 According to research, music has a very positive effect on children's brains.

 In a 2011 study, learning music for just one month increased the verbal intelligence of four- to six-year-olds.

 In addition, a 2004 study found that six-year-olds who took piano classes were more intelligent than those who took drama classes or did not take any classes at all.

 However, a 2013 study also found that children who are more successful actually take the same music classes in most cases.

 * You are the eldest of siblings.

 A New York Times report cited a study that found that the eldest child in the household was the most intelligent.  The study found that the eldest child in the household has a three IQ point advantage over the next sibling, but not because of genetics, but because parents pay more attention to their first child.

 * You are lean.

 A 2006 French study tested 2,200 adults over a five-year period.

 The Telegraph report cited the study, which found that the thicker the waist, the lower the cognitive ability.

 According to the research, people with a body mass index of 20 or lower scored an average of 56% in the word memorization test, while those with a BMI of 30 or higher scored an average of 44%.

 * You have a cat.

 A 2014 study found that dog breeders were more mobile, but cat breeders scored higher in the intelligence test.

 Explaining the reason, Dennis Gustello, head of research, said that dog breeders go out more to meet people and keep their dogs with them, while cat breeders are more sensitive and like to read books at home.  Do

 * Breastfed babies.

 A Duke University statement cited two studies involving more than 3,000 children.  The study found that babies who were breastfed and had a gene called FAD32 had an IQ seven points higher than other babies.

 However, scientists believe that more studies are needed in this regard.

 * Illegal drug use.

 A 2012 British study found a link between high IQ in childhood and illicit drug use.

 The study included 6,000 British citizens born in 1958.  The study found that people who scored higher in IQ as a child were more likely to become addicted to drugs when they grew up.

 * You work with the left hand.

 A recent study found left-handed people to be more creative.

 The study found that people who used their left hand for most tasks had just as much creativity.

 Maybe that's why there are so many left-handed people in music and architecture.

 * You are tall.

 A Princeton University study looked at three-year-olds.  Children of this age were selected so that the role of the school does not affect the study.  In the test, taller children performed better than other children.
